Zondervan Library's Mission Statement

The mission of the Zondervan Library is to advance the strategic initiatives of Taylor University through excellent services, relevant resources, and purposeful spaces for student success.

The Library accomplishes these aims through:

• Teaching class sessions on quality research
• Offering individual consultations on research skills
• Delivering walk-up peer research tutoring
• Supplying digital and print resources
• Furnishing 15+ study rooms and varied seating options
• Prioritizing friendly customer service

• Maintaining collaborative and quiet study spaces
• Being staffed by 9 full-time faculty/staff and 30+ student workers
• Facilitating interlibrary loan for books, articles, and materials worldwide
• Providing a 24-hour silent study space for focused work (Geek Room)
• Supplying leisure reading materials and a wide range of games
• Creating a welcoming environment where students belong and succeed
