Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service that expands Library user access by allowing library patrons to borrow articles and books from other libraries at no cost.
eBooks and textbooks are not eligible for the Interlibrary Loan service.
This service is available to all current students, faculty, and staff. By connecting to the world of knowledge available through tools such as our Library Databases, patrons are empowered to find more and better resources than ever.

Active ILL requests are those which have not been completed: ILL books currently checked out along with article or book requests that are outstanding and have not yet been filled.
Submitting a request
- Use our search box or specific Library Databases to locate a citation to borrow.
- Click Request Item Access on the right side of the screen within the citation record.
- Sign in to ILLiad.
- Verify all citation information, including full page numbers.
- Click Submit.
After a request has been submitted
- ILL requests are processed by Zondervan Library staff and sent through to potential lending libraries.
- Library patrons will be notified via email when ILL items are available for use or if clarification is needed on an ILL request.
Accessing ILL materials
- Articles are delivered electronically to patrons ILLiad account.
- To view available articles, sign in to ILLiad and select the relevant article under the "View" menu.
- Books will be available for pick up behind the Check Out Desk.
- To renew ILL books sign in to ILLiad.
Potential Fees
Each ILL book has paperwork included with it, if this paperwork is not returned with the book, a $3.00 charge will be added to the patron account.
